Space scientists in the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics operate a full-colour all-sky aurora camera west of Saskatoon. The camera was provided by collaborators at the University of Calgary Department of Physics and Astronomy, who specialize in optical imaging of the aurora from the ground and space. These images are uploaded in near real-time. The current image is updated every minute automatically, and older images are available in the image archive.
